This is a short introduction to Transcendental Meditation just covering some of the benefits of a very popular form of meditation. Obviously this just skims the surface of this popular form of meditation. The one problem I see with this form of meditation is finding the right teacher to help personalize the program for you.

Before we learn how to meditate we have to come to an understanding of what meditation is. Meditation can be described as a way to break the chains of our logical conditioned mind and achieving a state of pure relaxation free from the thoughts that constantly run through our minds.

Meditation calms the mind and relaxes the body dissolving built up tension and anxiety the body stores. As we become more exposed to the stresses of modern day life it is imperative that we find a way to relieve the pressure.
